Around forty young musicians from the Suzuki Violin School of Bienne will give a concert in the Community Center of Evilard at 10 :30 a.m.
The program will be made up exclusively of works by Eastern European composers. Dvorak, Shostakovich, Tchaikovsky, Bartok, Rimsky-Korsakov amongst others will be played by the young musicians, either as soloists or in groups, interspersed with a selection of traditional Russian or Rumanian melodies.
The youngest musicians, some not even 4 years old, will be accompanied by young virtuosos of 11 to 20 years old, some of whom are recipients of national and international prizes.
